A Safe Place for Animals Who Have

Nowhere Else to Go

We are buildiing a permanent sanctuary in Northern Arizona for rescued animals who need long-term care, safety, and stability.

DAYS LEFT TO FUND THE FENCING:

This fundraiser supports the first step: securing the land so animals can safely live here.

PAWS is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

Donations are tax-deductible.

Not every animal needs a new home.

Some just need a safe one.

How We Started...

PAWS Rescue Sanctuary began as a small, grassroots rescue operating out of a one-bedroom apartment in Santa Monica in 2018. What started as helping a few animals in need quickly grew into a mission to provide long-term safety and care for animals who had nowhere else to go.
To date, more than 50 animals have been rescued from abandonment, neglect, and difficult circumstances. Some have found loving homes, while others have remained under our care permanently when rehoming wasn’t possible.
This expansion will allow PAWS to help more animals in dire need while continuing the hands-on, compassionate approach that started it all.

Where We Are Headed...

Phase 1 - SECURE THE LAND (active)

WE ARE CURRENTLY FUNDING PERIMETER FENCING, GATED ACCESS AND BASIC SECURITY SO ANIMALS CAN SAFELY LIVE ON THE PROPERTY.

ONCE THIS IS COMPLETE, EVERYTHING ELSE BECOMES POSSIBLE.

• perimeter fencing
• gated entry
• signage & basic security

Why it matters:

Without fencing, animals cannot safely live here.

ACTUAL LAND

Phase 2 - BASIC SHELTER & INFRASTRUCTURE

Turning land into a livable space.

• simple shelter structures
• shade & weather protection
• water setup

• feeding stations

Why it matters:

Animals can safely stay long-term.

Phase 3 -

DEDICATED ANIMAL AREAS

These spaces are designed for long-term residents, including animals who may never be comfortable in traditional homes. Some of these animals will never be adopted, and that's okay. This sanctuary is designed to give them a safe, stable place to live for the rest of their lives.

• separate zones for shy/unsocial animals
• medical recovery space
• quarantine area

Why it matters:

So animals have consistent, daily care.

EVERYTHING BELOW BECOMES POSSIBLE

ONCE THE LAND IS SECURED.

Phase 4 -

ON-SITE LIVING SPACE

So the sanctuary can operate full-time.

• small house (cabin)
• storage for supplies
• basic utilities

Why it matters:

Without someone living on-site, consistent care isn't possible.

Phase 5 - COMMUNITY & EDUCATION SPACE

So people know how to care for animals the right way.

• simple on-site learning space
• hands-on programs for kids
• youth education

Why it matters:

Creates the next generation of people that protect animals.

Phase 6 -

As the sanctuary grows, we will be able to take in more animals and expand the space responsibly.

Why it matters:

More space = more animals saved.
